How Much Does AI Video Editing Cost Compared With a Freelancer?

AI video editors charge a monthly subscription; freelance editors charge by the hour, the finished minute or the project. What a freelance video editor costs

Freelancers set their own rates and usually quote them in one of four ways:

Hourly. You pay for editing time, so long or messy footage costs more.
Per finished minute. Common for short social content and easy to compare.
Per project. A flat fee for a defined scope, usually with a set number of revision rounds.
Monthly retainer. A package of videos each month for recurring content.

Rates vary with experience, region, turnaround and scope. Turnaround and revisions

This is where the two differ most. With an AI editor, a revision is a sentence, and the new preview comes back in the same session, so trying three versions of an opening costs you three sentences. In Valmera, every revision is saved as a new version and anything cut can be restored.
