Understanding Credits

How the credit system works — daily resets, monthly pools, and plan tiers.

How Credits Work

Every action in Valmera that uses AI — building a new app, sending a follow-up edit, or running Planner Mode — costs credits. Your credit balance is shown in the Studio at all times.

You see a single combined balance, but under the hood there are two separate pools: daily credits and monthly credits. Valmera automatically spends daily credits first, then draws from the monthly pool.

Daily vs Monthly Credits

DAILY CREDITS

  • 20 credits every day
  • Reset at midnight UTC
  • Available on all plans (including free)
  • Do not accumulate — unused daily credits expire
  • Spent first before monthly credits

MONTHLY CREDITS

  • Set by your subscription plan
  • Refresh on each billing renewal date
  • Paid plans only (Plus, Pro, Ultra)
  • Do not accumulate — unused monthly credits are wiped on renewal
  • Used only after daily credits are exhausted

Tips to Maximize Credits

  • Use HB-6 for drafts. Start with the cheapest model to get the structure right, then switch to a higher model for polish.
  • Write detailed prompts. A clear, specific prompt produces a better first build and reduces the number of follow-up messages needed.
  • Use Planner Mode for complex apps. Spending 1 extra credit on planning often saves 3-5 credits that would have been spent on corrections.
  • Start from templates. Templates are free to clone. You only spend credits on the customization messages.
  • Batch your edits. Instead of sending five separate follow-up messages, combine related changes into one message when possible.
