Editing at scale with MCP
The MCP server at https://valmera.io/mcp/server gives an assistant or script the same editing tools: 143 tools (live server card, October 2026). Sign in with OAuth or a token minted at valmera.io/mcp; MCP access is included with eligible subscriptions. A typical client run looks like this:
- Create the project and upload the shoot (create_project, upload_start, upload_finish).
- Read the transcript and pick the story ranges (get_transcript, make_shorts).
- Apply the client's house style to up to 30 shorts in one request (apply_short_edit_batches).
- Render and inspect previews (render_preview, watch_video).
- Export each final MP4 (export_final, then wait_for_job, then download_url).
Your assistant does the editing itself; it can't delegate a job to Valmera's in-house agent. A project can't be edited from Studio and over MCP at the same time. Setup guides: Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.
