Ken Burns Motion, Fit and Crop

Ken Burns motion is a slow camera move across a still photo: a push in, a pull out or a pan. It makes photos feel filmed rather than presented. Valmera applies it per slide as zoom in, zoom out, pan left or pan right. It moves the frame over your real photo; it doesn’t re-animate the picture.

Mixed orientations need a decision. Cropping a 3:4 portrait photo to fill a 16:9 frame keeps only 42% of its height, which is how heads get cut off; a 3:2 landscape photo cropped into 9:16 keeps about 38% of its width. Fit keeps the whole photo and fills the rest of the frame with a blurred copy of it or with black.

Music, Voiceover and Beat Timing

Bring the soundtrack: upload a track, or name a specific song and Valmera finds and downloads that recording (licensing is up to you). There’s no stock music library and no AI music. Valmera fits what you bring: it fades in and out, starts where you say (skip a slow intro or open on the chorus), loops a short track, and plays it as the lead when nobody is talking.

It also measures the song’s tempo and beat times, so slide changes can land on the beat: at 120 BPM, a slide every four beats lasts two seconds. Add your own recorded voiceover and the agent sets the music low underneath it. Valmera has no AI voices.

Limits

It uses your photos and clips. There’s no AI image generation, and it isn’t a text-to-video generator.
No true crossfade or dissolve between slides; dip to black or white is the soft option.
The whole video uses one frame, set by its opening slide.
No automatic captions: a slideshow has no speech, and voiceovers aren’t transcribed. Use title cards and on-screen text.
Photos must be PNG, JPG or WebP (convert HEIC first), up to 50 MB each. Text uses the bundled fonts; there are no font uploads.
