How Templates Work
Templates are fully built starter projects available in the Valmera template gallery. Each template is a complete, working application with real components, styling, and structure — not just a wireframe or mockup.
When you clone a template, it becomes a new project in your workspace. From there, you can send follow-up messages to the AI agent to customize every aspect: change colors, add pages, modify layouts, swap out content, or extend functionality.
This is often faster than building from scratch, especially when the template is close to what you need. You save time on the foundation and spend your credits on the customizations that matter.
How to Use a Template
Browse the Gallery
Open the template gallery from the Studio or visit valmera.io/templates. Preview each template to see the live app in action.
Clone It
Click "Use Template" on any template. This creates a copy of the project in your workspace, just like a fresh build — complete with all files and a working preview.
Customize with AI
Send follow-up messages to modify the template. For example: "Change the color scheme to blue and white" or "Replace the pricing section with a FAQ."
Publish or Download
Once customized, publish it to a .valmera.io subdomain or download the source code. The output is identical to any app built from a prompt.
